Account Opening

Clients can download the following via internet:

1. Cash Client’s Agreement /Authorization for account opening/ Account opening information

2. Client Agreement (Supplement 1) – Online Trading Service

3. Online Trading Application Form

To confirm and verify the identity of the applicant, the "Cash Client Agreement " and "(Supplement 1) " must be approved by a notary public or qualified professionals with dated signature in witnesses column of the agreement.

Procedures

  1. Please send us your completed and signed Account Application Documents by hand or mail. Together with the above documents, please attach with the following:

    1. Please fill in all the relevant parts in the Account Application Documents. Any Account Application with missing and / or incomplete parts may lead to unnecessary delays. Any missing of significant information may even result in your application being declined
    1. Please fill in your personal details and read the"Declaration" section in the Account Application Form carefully. You are required to sign and date in page 4 of the Account Application Form.
    1. Please read through the whole set of Account Application Documents and write down your name, passport or identity card number together with your dated signature. If you have any query, particularly in relation to "Risk Disclosure Statements", please contact us immediately.
    1. Please note that your account will not be opened unless your application has been accepted by us. Acceptance of your account application requires a signature of an authorized person of our company. We will wait for your instructions to send you a copy of the Account Application Documents which have been signed by both parties for recording purposes.

    2. If you (applicant) are not the beneficial owner of this account, you must provide us with the name, address and contact telephone number of the ultimate beneficial owner.

Trading information

  1. Securities Market Trading Hours (Hong Kong Time)
Pre-opening Session 9:00am to 9:30am
Morning Session 9:30am to 12:00pm
Afternoon Session 1:30pm to 4:00pm
Closing Auction Session (CAS) 4pm to 4:08pm & Random Closing Period (4:08pm-4:10pm)

(*Not applicable under special circumstances and during Hong Kong Public Holidays)

    1. You can contact our customer service department via phone or utilize the online trading system to give order instructions. After an order is placed on the trading platform, you can call our customer service officer to amend or cancel that order instruction. Any transaction concluded via customer service department will be charged a commission according to company’s standard rates. Any order instructions placed via customer service department will be reflected on the trading platform in real time, you can amend or cancel that order in the same way before the transaction is executed.
    2. Before you place the order to purchase securities, you are required to deposit sufficient fund in the company. At present we do not provide margin fund credit services.
    3.  Pre-opening Session(POS)/Closing Auction Session(CAS)
At-Auction Order (AO) An at-auction order is an order with no specified price and is entered into the trading system during the Pre-opening Session for execution at the final IEP. It enjoys a higher matching priority than an at-auction limit order. An at-auction order will be automatically cancelled if unmatched.
At-Auction Limit Order (ALO) An at-auction limit order is an order with a specified price and is entered into the trading system, but the entered ask/bid price must within the range of nine times higher/lower of current ask/bid price. ALO has a specified price at or more competitive than the final IEP. Depending on market conditions, not all at-auction orders can be matched. As a result, unmatched at-auction orders will be cancelled after order matching.

               Continuous Trading Session

Limit Order (LO) Buy Limit Orders: The order price should fall at or 20 spreads lower than the prevailing market price.Sell Limit Orders: The order price should fall at or 20 spreads higher than the prevailing market price.
Enhanced Limit Order (ELO) An enhanced limit order allows matching of up to five price queues at a time. Unmatched ELO will become same price LO. Changes made of ELO input of ask/bid price should not lower/higher than current input price. Otherwise the system will reject any changes.
Special Limit Order(SLO) A special limit order will allow matching of up to 10 price queues at a time provided that the traded price is not worse than the input price. A special limit order has no restriction on the input price as long as the order input price is at or below the best bid price for a sell order or at or above the best ask price for a buy order.

    2. The trading instruction is only valid till day-ends; all instructions not successfully executed will not be carried forward to the next trading day.
    3. The commission charged for orders placed via online trading platform is separated from the commission charged for orders placed via phone.

Settlement Procedures

Bank Transfer / Cheque Deposit

  1. Prior to placing stock dealing order, clients need to deposit sufficient funds into the client trust account of SynerWealth Financial Limited (“SynerWealth”). For details, please refers to the relevant section of Account Opening Procedure.Account Opening Proceduresection

Cash Withdrawal

Client can complete “Cheque Withdrawal Form” and

The relevant funds in the form of cheque will credit to your bank account on the same. If the instructions received after 10:30am will be executed on the next working day.

Stock Deposit/ Withdrawal

Client can carry physical scrip to our counter in person Client can complete the " Physical Stock Withdrawal Form”
and complete the "Physical Stock Deposit Form ". and withdraw physical scrip at our counter in person after three trading days.
The stock will be deposited to your account after confirmed by CCASS within seven trading days

Settlement Instruction ("SI")

Stock transfer from / to other stock brokerages. Please complete the“Securities Settlement Instruction form”and hand in to our settlement department. After the settlement instruction matched by CCASS, the stock will be transferred to your account.

FAQ

After we have received the application form (if information is available), you would be notified your password of online trading system in three trading days by the way you chose in your application form.

If you forgot your password, please complete the "Reset Password Online Application Form” and return to us. We will notify you within five business days a new password.
